Accessibility Statement

The Vue Lake Tarpon wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology. This page explains the standard we work to, what we know still needs improvement, and how to reach us if something gets in your way.

Our standard

We aim for this website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. In practical terms, we work to make sure that:

• Every page can be navigated and operated using a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator
• Images that carry meaning have text alternatives, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers
• Text meets minimum contrast ratios against its background
• Form fields have labels that assistive technology can read, and required fields are identified
• Pages use a logical heading structure and landmark regions
• Content can be zoomed to at least 200% without loss of function
• Moving content, such as the photo slideshow on our home page, can be paused

Known limitations

We would rather tell you about these than have you discover them:

• The map on our home page is provided by Google Maps. We do not control its keyboard behavior or its screen reader support. Our full street address is written out next to it and repeated at the bottom of every page.
• Third-party travel and booking websites that list our property are not operated by us, and we cannot vouch for their accessibility. Booking directly with us by phone works the same for everyone.

Tell us what you were trying to do and, if you can, what assistive technology you were using. We will help you complete whatever you were trying to do by another means, and we will fix the problem on the site.
